🎃  Spooktacular Science 

Drop in for a spine-tingling, fun-filled Halloween adventure at Discovery Centre’s Spooktacular Science!

October 28th or 29th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
 
We’ve brewed up a cauldron of excitement with slimy, oozing experiments and dry ice sorcery. Check out some creepy chemistry demonstrations that will leave you spellbound and try Spooktacular activities throughout the Centre.
 
Plus, don’t forget to wear your Halloween best for a chance to win some prizes, including Micro:bits, Discovery Shop prizes, and a Family Pass to Discovery Centre. Grab your costumes, bring your Halloween spirit, and join us for a spooky-smart family Halloween party!
 
Spooktacular Highlights:
– Traverse The Creepy Cosmos in our special spooky space show, playing twice a day in the Dome Theatre (tickets sold separately on-site).
– Delve into some “creepy chemistry” with our expert educators
– Get under the skin of local species and meet their spooky skulls
– Make your own slime for an ooey-gooey good time
– Win a scary-good prize package for dressing up
– Special: At 2:00 PM on Saturday, Halifax Dance will perform Thriller
– Try bubbling ghost balls and other science activities
– Includes full centre exploration
