Health Science Facilitator

The Health Science Facilitator’s role is to plan, develop, implement, and deliver engaging hands-on activities and presentations on the science of public health and communicable disease prevention in the Discovery Centre, online, and in communities across Nova Scotia.

Events Assistant

Are you an outgoing and enthusiastic team member with strong project management skills and a drive to represent Discovery Centre? We are looking for you to join our team as an Events Assistant this fall.

Content Developer Assistant

The Content Developer Assistant is a motivated, innovative, articulate, and highly organized writer who assists in a variety of exhibit development functions. They have an insatiable curiosity about the world, a natural talent for telling a story, a post-secondary education, excellent verbal and writing skills, and the ability to think conceptually.

Sprouting Science Facilitator (Designated)

Are you passionate about community gardening and want to develop your mentorship skills? The Sprouting Science Facilitator will plan, develop, and deliver afterschool programming for young learners of African heritage about STEM topics such as food security, local sustainability, climate change, and agriculture. This role is designated for co-op students who identify as African Nova Scotians, members of the Black community, and candidates of African descent.
