Interactive Ocean Action Booth

Drop into the Ocean Action Zone anytime between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to chat with Halifax Solid Waste Educators about litter, marine debris, and reducing our waste.
Then do a fun craft transforming marine rope into a wearable item to take home. This is a drop in style event hosted by Halifax Solid Waste Resources, attendees must purchase tickets to the Discovery Centre.

Sharing clothing, tools, household goods, or knowledge passed down through generations, supports waste reduction and encourages meaningful community connections.
