Dance with Dinosaurs at Discovery Centre’s first SILENT DISCO!
Stomp and roar to the beat of DJ Mucky Ebanz. Join us Saturday, February 25th, 6pm-8pm, for dino-sized fun.

Explore Discovery Centre’s latest featured exhibit, DINOSAURS IN MOTION, including 14 giant metal dinosaur structures you can move to the beat while you groove to silent disco, discover gigantic prehistoric creatures, AND explore Discovery Centre after dark.

Dig up your dance moves and dino costumes for a roaring good time!

Silent Disco involves each participant getting a set of headphones they can control throughout the centre when listening to the DJ. Headphones need to be returned before leaving.

Discovery Centre Members receive a 20% discount.

The event will be hosted at Discovery Centre, 1215 Lower Water Street, Halifax. Tickets are non-refundable. All youth under the age of 18 must have an adult guardian present. Proceeds go towards Discovery Centre’s charitable STEAM mission.

A stylish beat crafter and polished mixologist, DJ Mucky Ebanz has been bringing his fusion of funky west coast bliss and chunky east coast flavor of House to the ears and dance floors of Atlantic Canada for 28 plus years. Catch him on the silent disco dance floor at Discovery Centre.

Meet the Dinosaurs

DINOSAURS IN MOTION brings a unique melding of science, innovation, and art to Discovery Centre. Meet 14 prehistoric species, reimagined through artist John Payne, made of recycled metal sculptures that are interactive and based closely on real-life fossils.
