DESCRIPTION:Celebrate International Coastal Cleanup Day at Discovery Centre with a swell of fun activities all about keeping our oceans litter-free. Learn about microplastics at the Divert NS Ocean Action Zone\, discover the science behind sorting\, and explore how waste ends up in our oceans. These activities are included in the purchase of admission and run 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. \nALSO\, drop by Point Pleasant Park between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM to say hello to our coastal cleanup team and friends from Divert Nova Scotia and explore what was found back at the Centre in the afternoon. \nIn-centre activities are included with the purchase of admission.
