Other Planets in our Solar System
Great question Anna! Other planets in our solar system do have seasons, even though they aren’t always as obvious as they are here on Earth. For example, seasons on Mars last about 6 months and the changes are very intense, because the tilt of the planet is greater than that on Earth, and because its pattern around the sun, also known as its orbit, is sort of squashed. In contrast, on Neptune the tilt of the planet is about the same as on Earth but each season last about 40 years, so the average human would only get to see 2 full seasons in their lifetime!
